In short: There is no single price for an entrance door: the cost is driven by the steel construction, the size, the finish, the lock and hardware, and whether the door is fire-rated. As a market reference from October 2026, iron and entrance doors in Georgia are quoted at roughly 350–2,000 GEL for factory models and 1,200–6,000 GEL for custom, with one showroom listing entrance doors at about 1,150–12,185 GEL. Unigon entrance doors are made to measure and quoted per project, so the honest answer is price on request against your opening and specification.

You have a renovation or a new flat and you want to know, before you talk to anyone, roughly what an entrance door should cost. The honest answer is that an entrance door is not a single product with a single price — it is a specification, and the number follows from the choices you make.

The short version

There is no fixed price for an entrance door in Georgia, because the cost is driven by six things: the steel construction, the size, the finish, the lock and hardware, the fire rating, and the installation and quantity. A plain standard-size steel door and a custom-size door with a wood-grain finish, a smart lock and an EI 60 fire rating are different products at different prices, even for the same opening.

For context — and only as third-party market reference as of October 2026 — entrance and iron doors in Georgia are commonly quoted at roughly 350–2,000 GEL for factory models and 1,200–6,000 GEL for custom work, while one showroom lists entrance doors from about 1,150 up to 12,185 GEL. Treat those as the range the market shows, not as Unigon prices. Our doors are made to measure and quoted per project.

What actually drives the price

Factor

What moves the cost

Why it matters

Steel construction

Reinforced steel skin over a premium aluminium core, filled with rock wool

This is the door's security, strength and insulation — the core of what you are buying

Size

Standard opening vs. a custom-made size

A made-to-measure door is cut to your opening, not forced to fit

Finish

RAL custom colours, wood-grain and textured surfaces

The look that matches your interior; more involved finishes cost more

Lock & hardware

Multi-point locking, handles, and optional smart lock

Security level and convenience; a smart lock adds capability

Fire rating

EI 30 or EI 60, where specified

Certified materials and testing where the building's design calls for it

Installation & quantity

Fitting on site; one door vs. many

A correct installation is part of the result; volume changes the per-door picture

Steel construction

The heart of the price is the build. A Unigon entrance door is a reinforced steel skin over a premium aluminium core, filled with rock wool. That construction is what delivers security, sound isolation, thermal insulation and resistance to humidity in one leaf. A thin stamped door and a properly engineered steel door can look similar in a photograph and behave nothing alike in a doorway — the difference is in the construction you are paying for.

Size: standard or custom

Standard openings take standard doors. New-builds, renovations and older buildings often do not have standard openings, which is where made-to-measure matters. A custom size is cut to the opening rather than packed out with filler strips, and that precision is part of the cost and part of the quality.

Finish

Finish is where two doors of identical construction diverge in price. Unigon offers RAL custom colours and wood-grain or textured finishes, so the door can match a dark modern interior or a warm timber-led one. The more bespoke the finish, the more it contributes to the quote.

Lock, hardware and smart locks

The locking package is both a security decision and a price factor. Multi-point locking, the handle set and an optional smart lock all sit here. A smart lock adds keypad or phone access — useful for a family flat and, in a short-let, close to essential — and it is quoted as part of the specification rather than as an afterthought.

Fire rating

If the door needs to be fire-rated, that changes the specification. Unigon entrance doors are available as EI 30 and EI 60. A fire rating means certified materials and tested performance, quoted accordingly. Importantly, whether your front door must be fire-rated is not a budgeting choice — it comes from the building's fire-safety design prepared under the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41.

Installation and quantity

A door is only as good as its fit. Installation is part of delivering the result, not a hidden extra, and the plan changes between a single flat and a whole block of identical doors. Quantity affects the overall picture, which is why project supply is quoted differently from a single door.

How Tbilisi and Batumi differ

The construction and finish logic is the same in both cities, but Batumi adds one consideration: the seaside climate. Humidity and salt air are harder on any metal near the coast, so humidity resistance and the finish matter more there. The rock-wool-filled steel construction already resists humidity, and we supply and install across Batumi and Kobuleti as well as Tbilisi and Rustavi — but it is worth raising the climate when you ask for a Batumi quote so the specification fits the location.

A quick checklist before you ask for a price

  • Opening size measured, or a measurement visit booked.
  • Standard or custom size decided (most renovations need custom).
  • Finish preference noted — RAL colour, wood-grain or textured.
  • Lock package chosen, including whether you want a smart lock.
  • Fire rating confirmed against the building's design (EI 30 / EI 60, if required).
  • Quantity known — one flat or a whole project.

With those six answers, a quote stops being a guess. Every Unigon entrance door also carries a 12-year warranty, which is part of what the price reflects.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does an entrance door cost in Georgia?

As a market reference from October 2026, factory entrance doors are quoted around 350–2,000 GEL and custom doors around 1,200–6,000 GEL, with one showroom listing entrance doors up to roughly 12,185 GEL. Those are third-party market figures, not Unigon prices. A Unigon door is made to measure and quoted per project.

Why can't you just give me one price?

Because an entrance door is not one product. The same opening can take a standard steel door or a custom-size door with a wood-grain finish, a smart lock and an EI 30 or EI 60 fire rating. Each choice moves the price, so we quote against your actual specification.

What makes one entrance door more expensive than another?

Chiefly the steel construction and insulation, the size (standard versus custom), the finish (RAL colours, wood-grain or textured surfaces), the lock and hardware including a smart lock, and whether the door is fire-rated. Installation and quantity also affect the total.

Is a fire-rated entrance door more expensive?

A fire rating adds certified materials and testing, so an EI 30 or EI 60 entrance door is specified and quoted differently from a non-rated one. Whether you need a fire rating comes from the building's fire-safety design, not from price.

How do I get an exact price?

Send us the opening size and your preferences on finish, lock and fire rating, or book a measurement. We return a per-project quote for a made-to-measure door.
