Certificates & compliance

Fire resistance you can read on paper

Every fire class we supply is backed by a certificate, handed over with delivery. Ask for it before you order — not at handover.

  • EI 30 – EI 120
  • Certified
  • Decree No. 41
In short: Unigon fire doors are certified in classes EI 45, 60, 90 and 120 (and entrance doors in EI 30 and EI 60), and comply with the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41. Every class we state is backed by a certificate, which is handed over with the delivery — request the certificate pack before you order.

Proof before persuasion

A fire door is only a fire door if a certificate proves it

No competitor in the Georgian market shows a certificate on the page. We treat the document as the product: the class, the testing body and the number are what a fire inspector reads and what a developer files. Everything else — the steel, the seals, the finish — is a claim until the paper backs it.

What a genuine certificate must show

Use this as a checklist when a document lands on your desk.

  1. 01

    Fire-resistance class

The EI class and the minutes it is rated for — for example EI 60.

  2. 02

    Issuing & testing body

Who certified the door and who ran the test.

  3. 03

    Document number & date

A traceable reference you can check, plus when it was issued.

  4. 04

    Product & scope

The door type, construction and size range the result applies to.

  5. 05

    Validity

That the certificate is current, not expired.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why does a certificate matter?

A fire door is only a fire door if a document proves it. A verbal 'it's fire-rated' with no paper is a claim, not a rating — and it will not pass an inspection.

How do I request the certificate pack?

Message us on WhatsApp or email sales@unigon.ge with the classes you need, and we send the certificates and a range overview before you order.

What does Decree No. 41 have to do with it?

Our doors comply with the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41. The required class for each opening is defined by the building's fire-safety design prepared under that regulation.

Do the certificates come with delivery?

Yes. The certificate pack is handed over with the delivery for your fire inspection.

Doors that pass inspection

Send your door schedule — we match each opening to its certified class and hand over the documents.
